With big block headers you need to use the correct offset big block frame stands that the factory used, or the headers have problems with the steering box. I believe the stands moved the engine to the passenger side and slightly forward.

Engine looks great!

Thanks, I did confirm I am using OER correct frame stands and cross member that move setup to passenger side, etc. (pass frame stand is 1 inch shorter, cross member has offset tab mount for trans, etc). My BBC is also standard height deck. I think the issue is Blackheart toutes this setup will work but all of their pictures are with the 1-7/8 primaries. These are 2 inch primaries but said to fit "out of the box" on 67-69 BBC Camaros (only) over at protouring dot com. I had heavy contact with PS box, medium contact with drop link on pass side, and light contact with mini-starter already clocked. I can't imagine they would ever fit with a stock starter. No idea why this setup would have so much contact on passenger side when made exactly for 67-69 Camaro BBC only. Part number for everyone is BH13182.

The Hooker super comps I had didn't fit on my big block 69 Camaro, ending up with Lemons. Larger tubes (2.125") and cleared everything easily, as well as better ground clearance.

Unfortunately they're probably a wait right now, and definitely more money.
