Default What the best choice on these cams for autocross LS1/6spd 70 Camaro

New high lift ws6stores ASA cam 227/236 .600" .600 110
Howard's 222/232 .561 .587 112
This is for a ls1 with ported 243 heads milled for higher compression.
6spd trans
3:73 or 4:10 posi
In a 1970 Camaro weekend toy only.

228/228 112LSA would make great power all around.

More duration will favor higher RPM powerband. I had a 233/239 in a heads/cam LS1 (440rwhp) and it was dead below 4000rpm; however 4-7000rpm it was a madman and was light a light switch was flipped. I drove it on the street and road raced it. I don't think it would've been great for Autox. In hindsight I wish I had gone with something smaller like a 228/228 for better driveability and bottom end power.
