Default rubbing in front

i have a 17" x 8" 0 offset with a 265 40 17 for suspension i have stock upper and lower A arms with a 2" spindle drop and 1" lowering spring. i have rubbing when i turn right and left in front and back of the tire and also when i hit a bump while driving it feels like its rubbing on the top of the tire on both sides.

Can i get away with just replacing the springs or can I change to a 245. Thank you in advance for your help.

Assuming you have a 67 Camaro from your user name. 0 offset would give you about 4.5" back spacing. That combined with 3 inch in drop (springs and spindle) is not a healthy combo. Ideally you are going to need a 8 inch wheel with 4.75-5" back spacing. Have you thought about using a stock height spring? I would say a new wheel back spacing and raise your drop up front will help you. I am currently running a 245/45/17 with 17x8 with 4.75 and haven't had any issues with a 2 inch drop.
