Default NC Nationals in Raleigh Question

Guys this my first time going and I'm curious if it's better to have my ride outside or inside?

I was selected to have it inside but a have some reservations about it being there from Thursday afternoon to Sunday. What's the better spot to be? If you're outside, are you free to come and go? Does everyone drive out and back in everyday or do they leave their cars on site overnight? I'm assuming you're pretty stuck till Sunday if it's indoors.

Can someone ahead some light on this and how it's laid out? Don't get me wrong I'm homered to get the selection letter to setup up in doors but I just want to be where the action is good!

There are a couple schools of thought on this.....

Being inside is cool because you have reserved parking all weekend long. Park it Thursday and never have to worry about a good parking spot, or having to be in line early to get a good spot. Also, you would have no concerns about weather.

The downside, being outside in the sun is cool. The sun shining down on a nice car always looks better to me. You may want to drive the car some, or do a track cruise. In which case being outside would be easier to do.

As for overnight parking. It is not allowed outside. Every day you have to search out a good parking spot all over again. The only time cars are allowed on site over night are vehicles that are parked in vendors displays. At least that has been my experience and understanding.

Hope this helps you decide.....

Thanks for the insight Glenn. So where does everyone put their cars overnight, back in their trailers or drive them home?
Are you planning to attend this year?
