Default Replacing door skins

Any tips to R&R door skins? I think there is a crimper made for the edges. Probably makes thing a bit easier I would think.

To remove the skins, use an angle grinder and grind along the edge of the door. you'll get through the hemmed edge very quick. Then dress the spotwelds, etc.

Sandblast the lip and inside the door, apply a good epoxy primer.

Don't waste your money on a crimper - get a good door skin hammer and dolly, and do it by hand. you want to make several passes to slowly fold the edge over.

Once you've folded the edge over, put the door on the car, make sure it lines up. Then spot weld to lock the position in.

If you're doing adhesives... get a slow one, and work quick!
