Hey all, we had a really pretty 69 come in last week to fix some driveability issues and a few mechanical woes. The car had been converted to a 4-link and we found the rear suspension brackets had been welded in all wrong, causing some gnarly binding in suspension travel. The axle was also pointing crooked. We ended up pulling out the rear axle, removing the old brackets, welded in our brackets and installing Speed Tech Articulink lower control arms to replace the other brand rigid ones.
After that we repaired several small mechanical issues. Now the car is able to drive again! There are still some issues with the old front suspension, so we will be seeing this car returning in the near future for a full Speed Tech Pro-Touring front sub frame and suspension package upgrade. When we do that Cole is also considering an LS swap. Cool!
A really nice ride, just wanted to share some pics. Thanks for letting us help get you back on the road Cole!
