Well Done Chief! Good Camaro Day for sure!!

You know, I am pretty blessed with how clean my Camaros body is. At least as far as I know anyway... knock on wood. For me there is always a level of uncertainty. But I tell you what, you know exactly what you have and how meticulous and solid the work on yours is. Be very proud of your work. You set a great example.

Mind? Heck no! I smiled when I read it.

I'm sure I'm not the only one learning from your thread either.

Looks good Chief!

You all need to pass some of that 'Good Camaro Day' karma my way. I purchased trunk lid #5 and it showed up yesterday. Guess what? Didn't fit worth a darn. I haven't even braved trying to get back to work on my front cap. I'm probably going to go talk to a local resto shop and see about getting them to deal with it. I've just lost my patience for it. I'm ready to start block sanding and spraying some color damnit!!

You can have all my karma you need, don't know if it's any good thou I bought my deck lid 11 years ago from Ricks and it fit just like the OEM ... guess I lucked out. I wish you luck.

I finished welding the driver's cowl .... what a PITA, made two patches where I had to slice the corners and wrestled it back in place. Weld, hammer/ dolly and more heat and she fits.

Good Camaro Day fer sure

Finish with some epoxy primer and some undercoat!

I'll finish dressing the welds another time .... I'm beat!

Thanks for looking.... time to

I am relieved to have this welded in, I was a little hesitant when it came to welding .... you know, measure a thousand times and weld once!
I was very disappointed with the quality of the side cowls, however AMD parts were a bit closer than the other place ... maybe I am paranoid .
