Stopped out to US131 again to make sure all the new parts were going to hold up. 6350 rpm clutch dumps anyone?

Hadn't ever been to Ubly before so I tagged along with some friends. Greg's little S10 is pretty impressive. Stock bottom end 4.3 with rod bolts, s366 in the bed, blow thru carb on e85. 11.45 was his best and 119 on the first pass before we realized how short the shutdown was and started braking early.

Turns out the front tires on Greg's truck were shot which worked out perfect because my skinnys fit it and I was planning on making passes on my street tires. I ended up going 11.66 with a lot of clutch work to keep it happy, it would spin going into 4th.

The stuff I carry with me for a 450 mile round trip to go racing.

Four passes of slamming on the brakes at the 1/4 mile to make the turnoff.

I just read this entire thread in one sitting, lol. I'm not normally a jeep guy, but this thing is sooooo freaking cool. It's awesome to see someone think this far outside of the box. Sucks that the first one got wrecked, but it's great to see that you rebuilt and it's better than ever! It's also cool to see a fellow Michigander, I was just over on your side of the state for Gridlife.

Too cool, you've got too much time on your hands if you read the whole thing lol. I missed spectating Gridlife but had some friends that competed. Hope you did well!

Love the build. Are you responsible for any of those black marks on Patterson in front of the body shop? I see your truck up there from time to time.

I wouldn't know anything about things like that. They have cruise nights there on Thursdays, you should stop by if you get a chance. I try to make it there but it seems like I get busy a lot.

The Jeep seems to be working great! So if you had a minute, I thought I'd throw a question or two your way. I too went with the JGS gate and BOV (not yet fired, due to timing cover issues found out too late), and I was wondering what approach you took to boost control. Are you just going on spring, and if so, which one?
