Default Would you be ok grinding....

Down the edges of your stock tail light lenses or your $500 billet lenses to fit into the tail lamp housings? I'm not talking much, like 2mm, 1mm per side or so. My caliper says stock lenses are almost exactly 2mm wider than than Marquez billet lenses.

I'm working on something and I built it off my Marques billet tail lamps. When I checked it to repop lenses they are just a touch to big and would need to be run across a belt sander to fit like they should.

So would you have a problem grinding the edges on your lenses? It will never been seen and carbon fiber would be covering it up.

I would modify the lenses rather than a $500 pair of billet housing.

I didn't make myself clear very well. The part I'm talking about needing to modify if the very edge on either set. I marked it with green tape. It will still use the factory retaining tabs so those wouldn't be sanded down.

Grind it!! What the hell...it's not that much anyway. The aftermarket ones will look much sweeter anyway.

Sure. A good hand on a stationary belt will tune it right up.
