Default Is this setup enough?

1967 Camaro, I want a good handling street driver with some occasional road course (willow springs) driving. (2-3 times a year). I plan on purchasing the whole RideTech suspension. Strong Arms, TruTurn, muscle bar, coil overs, and their 4-link rear suspension system. 275s up front and 335s in the rear. DSE roll cage, 12:7:1 steering box. Will this set up be good for what I need it to do?

Sounds like a solid plan.

You didn't mention anything about tire brand, brakes or rear end so I'll bring those up as well. What were you thinking?

Let me know if you need anything quoted, happy to help source the items you're looking for.

Wheel brand will probably be BFG rival S, brakes are powered wilwood all four corners. One reason why I decided on the ridetech system is because they use a stock style spindle. While I like the c6 spindles it’s not in the budget. And the brakes I have at the moment are for the stock style spindles. I’m going to use the 12 bolt I have in it at the moment, 3.73 gears, posi, the whole 9. Yea definitely. I’ll contract you once I get everything blueprinted and organized.

With the exception of your brake choice I am running exactly the same setup you have chosen. I went with a C5 Z06 brake kit from Kore3 and a Hydratech hydroboost.

I hope we are both on the right path... seems to be a popular set up. Are you using the new “R-joint” rear links?

No not right now. My car is on DSE leafs right now with 335s. 4-link kit should help me put some 12 inch rims with those 335. Probably going to roll the lips to do that. I posted this on the thread for re-assurance. From what it looks like it’s a good suspension kit. I’m going to start ordering the front suspension soon. What size rims do you have up front with those 275s? And BS. Does it drive well?

I worked directly with Forgeline for sizing and BS. Your brake kit will have a big effect on BS.
I am running 18x9.5 with a 5.75” BS. 5.5”BS would have been fine for me, as the Kore3 kit is .25” narrower than the Baer kit that Ridetech used when designing their kit. The 5.75” BS I chose allows me the option of running a 1/4” spacer or not to fine tune the track width and clearance to the inner and outer fenders.
I spent months researching BS and wheel sizes.

Matt’s Classics and Forgeline were great to deal with and I read everything I could find from Brett Vokel and Rod Prouty before I made my order.

I can’t say how it drives as I’m not quite there yet. Might get to take it around the block this fall. It seems quite stiff sitting in my garage, but I have not made any shock adjustments and the car is not at full weight yet.
