I'd be watching positive videos and reading positive books. Reflecting on old photos and experiences. Talking to those you love most or can make you laugh. Find ways to be productive. Writing down something you're grateful for first thing is a good way to start the day. Towards the end of 2017 I spent 65 days in a row doing that. Many days I had to fight through a piss poor attitude to get it done, but it nearly always changed my attitude for the better. Now I can go back and read those notes and it helps do the same thing. They've proven optimism helps your immune system.

As crazy as it seems --- yes! It's what? 5 years now??
For those that don't know or understand the conversation -- 5 years ago when Dave (BMF) and Rob (FETornio - SIC for fun) did a little back east road trip (posted around here somewhere) --- they started a text train - that evolved into 8 of us texting 24/7/365 ever since.
For the unwashed - lol - there are days when you wake up and there are 300+ texts waiting for you. Depends on what night - how late - and how much beer has been consumed or - what EVENT has just taken place.
I'm a big problem on the train (who'd a thunk it!) - I type fast and have lots to say..... LOL

Cancer update
Quick update on my cancer situation --- Mayo clinic said that I basically have almost no growth (1 cm) on the spots on my lymph nodes -- and just a hair more than that on the spots on my lungs.... So pretty good news. Given my unorthodox treatment.... I'll take that news!
I'm only doing CBD oil at night (about 200mg) for the last few months. I might add some THC now just to see if we can shrink the spots....

Thank you - that's very kind. The truck is beyond my wildest dreams.... they did one hell of a job on it! I'm so happy with it.

I'm really just trying to keep the info flowing about my rather unorthodox treatment so people can refer to this thread should they ever (sadly) need it. Since I am not under a doctors care for the cancer -- and I don't even take an aspirin.... I'm not on a single pill for ANYTHING.... I have to believe this THC/CBD stuff is doing "some good".... While I know I'll lose the battle at some point - stretching that point out as long as I can is the goal. Not spending time in a hospital and being sick the entire time with the chemo drugs is the other goal. I've been able to live a completely normal life doing this my way. I think it's gone rather swimmingly!! LOL

My ERCP procedure went quite well today -- they did need to do some housekeeping so it's a good thing I had it done. It's all a big guessing game as to how long I can go between these events. Obviously - since it's surgery where they knock you clear out (joked with the folks in the operating room about not giving me quite as much as Michael Jackson took)..... and asked to make sure they knew they weren't amputating anything..... you want to put these off as long as possible -- without going too long and having something real bad happen.
Being here in Scottsdale now - will allow them to monitor my blood work more frequently. That will give a good indication for how the liver is functioning.
All in all -- all's good!
