Default Sway Bar fab.

I worked on brackets for the sway bar last week end. I was also going to purchase and install a smooth front bumper w/recessed license plate, but decided to just smooth mine and recess the plate. Saves me a couple of bills, and I don't have to store the old one. Here are a few pictures.

Smoothie bumper...Prerequisite for these trucks in my book. I've been searching C/L daily for a smooth bumper to replace my stock one.

Man, I need to learn how to fabricate.

Default Front Bumper / Sway Bar update

I worked on the front bumper & rear sway bar mounts, Friday night & Saturday.

I still need to radius the lower corners and punch the holes for the plate.

It might sound cheesy or something, but I always said if The Law down here in Texas MADE me run a front plate, I'd buy one of the smoothies with the recess off to one side. I hate front plates to begin with and to me the assymetric look on the front helps keep that smooooth accentuation to the nose. Now in the back I think it only looks right centered. Hahaha

Default Bolted in the sway bar

I put the rear end back in place today to locate the new spring perches, and bolted up the sway bar to make sure everything fit right. Remember I am doing the mock-up on the old frame before I xfer everything to the new (old) frame. The old perches had the rear pinion pointing 5 degrees up. Everything seems to fit really well. Now I can get the cab off and really start getting after it.
