Turbo's are fun. Especially when they are 2,500 lbs, have 500 hp, and can be used on both the track and street

I love this 911 related threads. Hmmm, wonder why?

The 996 Turbo, as stated here, is not the same engine as the M96 Engine with the IMS issues. The turbo is a Metzgar based/type of engine if i remember correctly.

It is great great car. And yes, the new ones launch like anything else. I've yet to see one do the 1/4 against the Hellcat (or Demon?), if it doesn't win, its close. Oh, and it handles too lol.

Like Charlie said, if you can, keep the 69 for later on. Drive the p-car now.

I have a 997 C2S, and a 70' ss-rs-ls, and quite frankly, i can not pic a favorite. One is a scapel, one is a cleaver. Both cut, just differently. Can't go wrong...

Im about to the same point as you! My project has been delayed over and over! A new ready to roll sports car does not sound too bad!
