Very nice, indeed.
You going to post any interior pics before move in?
I personally love this style of architecture, wish land here wasn't as $$$, but then again, my house is worth $$.
Would love to build someday

curious, how long did it take you (with the finish line in site, sort of...) from idea to budget to design to location to build to move in...roughly
2 years is the time i heare the most...

anyways, cheers on what is a fantastic project. Enjoy in good health, mike

First...CONGRATULATIONS on the upcoming retirement. That's awesome!!

Second...Not sure how I managed to miss this thread for so long. I absolutely love that style of home. I am really looking forward to seeing interior pictures and the shop setup.

Third...Enjoy the process. It's not like you will do this again.

Congratulation’s on the retirement Lenie, and on the progress on the house. It looks nice.

Absolutely gorgeous! Would like to see more of this type of architecture and if you don't mind I'm curious what part of the country your building this in? I tried to do something similar here in Michigan a few years back and if its not a colonial the builders seem to go tilt.

You see this style in about every high end auto ad on TV these days. I think this is the next fad coming but people just don't know about it or know how to build it. I dream of a sub full of these on 1/2 acre or larger lots.

Very nice... Mike
