Default Front leaf spring perch (or whatever you call it)

So now that I got my car on the rotisserie and can have a good look at the underside, I noticed that both front leaf spring perches/mounts or what ever you want to call them have been welded in at the front. Obviously someone broke one of the bolts or the eye brackets. Do you think I'm better off leaving as is and adding more welds for extra strength and get rid of the bolts all together, or try and cut the welds and put new bolts in. I'm thinking about trying to cut the driver's side free and atleast put it straight. Here's some pics of where I mean:

Thanks guys. I see Lutty's has a set for a pretty good price so I will be cutting out the old one, fixing up any holes and putting in new ones with the proper hardware. Thanks again for all the advice.
