Here -- It looks more like what you're used to (at a Holiday Inn) when it's sunny and the pool equipment shed is completed... and the pool cover is open!

YEAH ROB!!

Would you believe that photo in the great Pacific NorthWET?? That was taken TODAY...

There truly is no place better in the summer (when the sun comes out) than here. No big bugs - no hail storms busting your windows - no tornado sirens - rarely any flooding (and only then if you live ON the river that's flooding) - no humidity.

All of this wonderfulness for AT LEAST 60 WHOLE DAYS PER YEAR (July 12th 'til September 15th)!!

EEEEEEEEEEEEHHHHHHHHHHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!

I have to ask, when was the last time you used the pool?

Twice a day sometimes... every day it's heated which is that mythical 57 days (May 1st til Oct 1st). And the hot tub too! Are my scales showing?

To be perfectly honest - many don't use them but we do. It's also a social magnet - if it's hot/sunny - the phone rings... and the other end says... "so..... what are you guys doing....." It has made our house "the" hang out in the summer month(s) and we like that.

That's exactly what I was thinking, had to be heated. Mine has drawn a few of Kelli's friends lately as well. I'm not complaining.

Well -- since we've jacked this thread....

It's heated to 84* and then as the weather warms I drop it to 82...

It's a total social magnet.... impromptu bbq's... and you'd think we had a wine and beer fountain.
