Default Hi, aussie artist' no computer stuff though !

Hi everyone , ive been a member on here for a while now and thought about posting my art but got discouraged seeing all the brilliant computer generated stuff here. Im no good with photoshop so i just use my good ol' hands and marker pens.. Please check out my art , there is a lot of variation there from 'ratfinks' to 'hotrods'
you guys are in a different league with me as im real old school , but hey it might be refreshing for some of you...feel free to comment as feedback helps us all. click on 'my pics' on the page..

thanx, Gav Black

Hey Gav, Fantastic stuff!
From an artistic standpoint, I've always enjoyed completely hand drawn and rendered art more. I love to see the "brush strokes" and artist's hand at work. I used to do all my art that way too. It wasn't until recently that I started doing more of my client work with the aid of Photoshop or Illustrator. It really depends on the project and what the final deliverable will be.

In fact, I just bought the entire set of Prismacolor markers that I can't wait to rip into.

Post more work, I love it!

I still have tons of markers and pencils myself. Still use em too. You just reminded me I have a sketch in the scanner I need to scan in to work over.

Great work, keep it up!

thanx guys ! its nice to be encouraged...im pretty new with art to canvas (3 months)....ive tattooed for many years which kinda bores me a bit these days. I guess its the creative freedom you get doing your own thing. I do have photoshop etc on my computor but was frustrated trying to learn it. So i gave it up...I knock out 1 painting per day (maybe 2 dayz if im lazy) the house is full of them . im hoping to exhibit some time soon ....

thanx , Gav
