Default traco fuelie heads

I've got a pair of iron 2.02 fulie heads & I noticed that on the camel hump it has the name Traco stamped inside an oval. Also it has H 63 & 215 stamped on them. Does anyone have any idea as to what this could mean? The heads have been seriously ported at some point in their lives, could this have been done by Traco? Thanks.......Nige

Probably means they're worth a pretty penny to a vintage racer. Fuelie heads--even ported fuelie heads cannot hold a candle to modern designs. So from a performance standard, it's better to take the money and run.

As the above link shows... JJ is still in business... the name is just a little different from what Jim Travers and Frank Coon started. Jim sold the business in the 90's along with the original name and went to work for Callaway to head up their engine development program... and then onto other things later. Anyway... he's still the same ole JJ I used to work with... only now he playing with some insane LSx derivatives. Good people...

I'd probably call him and tell him what you have... you never know, there may be someone looking for that specific head. None the less... he could tell you more about them than anyone else could.

I do know that in the early 90's he used to get a little over $3k for those heads.
