Treasure Island, Florida

Description:

1969 Protouring Camaro

Original car was a very low optioned grandma car. Butternut yellow with dark green interior and a 307 V8 were about the only options. I Purchased a car in 2010 and it had a 350/350 turbo combo in it and was basically stock. I tore the car down to the shell and rebuilt everything except for the fabrication.
Fabrication of subframe connectors, Roll bar, mini tubs and rear suspension was performed by GForce design concepts out of Chambersburg Pennsylvania. Although they are no longer in business they were a top notch company and their workmanship was outstanding.

This Camaro has been proven and tested over and over again and has passed safety inspections for multiple OUSCI events, Holley LS Fest and countless local autocross events. At both Charlotte international and Daytona international the car was rock steady at over 150 miles an hour and never once let me down. The tuner Ed Hutchings. He is one of the favored tuners by HP Tuners and has made the car run perfectly whether you’re driving around town at 1100 RPMs or winding it out to 7000 RPM. Cruise control and AC makes long trips a breeze.

I decided to go back to my first true love of mid year Corvettes and I’m currently restoring a 67 convertible. Don’t need to sell, just don’t have the energy to maintain two hot rods!

Vehicle is in Treasure Island, Florida (near St.Petersburg), has a clear Florida title and is ready to turn the key and go race or cruise with no worries!
