Default Vintage Air Hose Routing and the Battery Shut off is in the way. (( 03-19-23 ))

Well, sometimes things don't go as planned.

I had the battery disconnect on the Negative terminal and since it hangs so low it actually hits the hoses.

I think I found the solution.

Next up is the battery hot wire.

I ran the ground wire under the battery tray which will eventually be wrapped in a TechFlex Abrasion wrap to protect the wire.

Building the new ground wire.

Originally I had the positive wire secured to the chassis and now it looks like it is going to be the ground wire.

Still trying to figure out the Positive wire routing.

Holy **** it works.

Plenty of space.

Now I just need to find a cool way to secure the hoses together.

More questions about the label maker.... what labels are you using? Is it actually a tube that you are sliding over the wire then the clear heat shrink over that?
Saw the link for the actual label maker.....

The good news is you’re printing directly on the heat shrink. Then you slide the clear heat shrink over the shrunk printed yellow heat shrink.

Default Finishing Up the Ground Wire (( 03-19-23 ))

Making the final ground wire termination.

Don't cut it to short...Don't cut it to short...Don't cut it to short...

Reference mark for the terminal orientation.

Since I can't find my 12 point sockets I am going to temporarily use these.

I need to change the angle for this Ring terminal.

This ground runs up to the block.

Default Week of March 19th - Task List (( 03-19-23 ))

You all know I like my lists so I made another one for this week.

First up I am finally securing the heaters hose in the inner fender.

Close up view

More needed parts from ICT Billet

Now that I have all the pieces I need to make the connection I just need the balls to cut the hoses.

Well I couldn't do it so I moved on to the battery ground wire that is now neatly tucked under the battery tray.

With the battery wire sitting so close to the lower radiator hose I decided to wrap it in DEI Heat Wrap.

Eak look like he wants to call it a night.

Default Final Autometer Clock Wiring (( 03-19-23 ))

I am pulling power and lights on from the headlight switch for the clock.

It has been a long long time since I center stripped a wire.

I twist connected the wires and the Autometer Clock powered up. Yahooooo

Of course I labeled everything first.

My new desk for the next twenty minutes

Marty,

What’s nice with the simplicity of your build is that on a road trip you can pull into any Chevy dealer if you need repairs!

Btw-great Remy pic…

That was the idea when I was building it and Remy sure is a blast to have around.
