Car is turning out amazing! Your choices are so spot on! You have got to be enjoying this part of the build.

I remember my first dirt bike, no greater feeling...and then finding out from all the neighbor kids that my stepdad had been riding it around the neighborhood for a month before and nobody told!

Jeff-

Yeah Jeff, he's gonna be very surprised. I promised him one last Christmas, but I didn't think he was ready for one. He'll be 9 in January, so I figure I'd get it. Ever since I said I'd get him one he hasn't let me forget it either. All of the other little boys in the neighborhood has them. Although, they're a few years older than him...like 10-12, but they got them around his age. So, he's been watching them ride for a few years and he's ready. As a matter of fact, I have a meeting at the motorcycle dealer today to discuss some options, etc.

Good, bad or indifferent...anybody have an opinion or any insight on Stainless Works mufflers? I'm considering getting them.

A memory that will stay with him! I still remember the Christmas I got mine! It was sleeting outside and I fired that bish up right in the living room!

Epic!! I know the feeling. I remember when I got my Honda CR-80 myself. That was the best feeling in the world.

The recessed marker lights and key locks look great. Great idea too. I may need to try that on my TA.

They are LOUD. I had them on my CTSV with 2" ARH headers into 3" exhaust and tried shutting them up with 20" Vibrant resonators and that took maybe 3 decibels out of them. I ended up taking them off, they droned bad and were stupid raspy. They did sound rowdy though...

Thanks Trey!! I like the added look. You can get them at Holohan's Hot Rod Shop.

Thanks for the info. I don't want anything super loud. Just want something with a nice deep tone and rumble. Also looking at Spintech oval tubing exhaust. I'm gonna need something low profiled that'll fit in tight spaces.

Spintechs are going to be loud also Marcus. I went to YouTube and listened to sound clips for literally hours after the first set of mufflers on my Chevelle turned out to be way too loud and droned like crazy. I ended up with Borla Pro XS. No drone and not too loud either.
I got Brandon a TTR90 for Christmas when he was 10. Hid it in the office Christmas Eve. He opened everything and we had cleaned up the mess. Thirty minutes later, the wife went in the office and shut the door. She got the camera rolling and called for him to come in there. He walked through the door and there it was, with a big silver bow stuck on the seat. Total surprise. You should have seen his face. I watch that clip from time to time for the smiles.
He rode it through the garage walk-through door two hours later, prolly going 15-20. Scared me to death, but didn’t even scratch him. Good times...
