Sorry I missed this question,we moved the tub against the rail and massaged the inner part of the outer tub half,which was easy to do while we had the quarter off,no problems with the 345 still has about 1.5 inchs of room on the inside.

Thanks-so no notch and do you have any specifics on the "massaged" outer half. Big hammer work or an english wheel and nice curved sections?

No notch in the rails as it is going to be a real world driver,rather than a super low profiler,we just rewoked the wheel house on the english wheel and plannishing hammer till we were happy with the clearance.
