Default Electric water pump on 454

Is anyone running an electric water pump. I have a 67 Camaro with a 454 and I am wanting to clean up the engine a little (makes the engine block look BIGGER). Does anyone know of any PRO's or CON's of an electric water pump before I go spend the money?

Pros - Space, no belts, cool very well at idle.

Cons - expensive, must wire properly, will probably need to change pulley configuration.

Meziere pumps are rated at 2,000 hours MTBF (mean time between failure) continous operation. That is an obscene amount of drive time. Years.

Talking

More power is always good. I have found an electric water pump in Summit that pumps 40 gpm. On a hot day at a red light, I run alittle hot and this would probably take care of the problem and keep me from upgrading my cooling fan. Red Lights Suck!
