This was the first car that really got me hooked. One of my best buddies sisters was dating a guy with a black 79 and a built 305. We rode up to a Whitetail classic and it sounded great and I thought it was fast. It was all downhill for me after that. My first car was a 1981 Monte with a 327. I raced it and wrecked it.

Looks great!! I had a 78 in college. Man, I loved my 78. I tore that car up doing all sorts of things to it in which I thought was fixing it up. LOL!!

Good to hear from you Eric... bummer about the Modern Auto cruise!.. The heat/drought kind of zapped my interest in taking the car out much this summer... Hope all is well out there..
