Personally, I like the idea of the hood vents. I vote yes...

I like them too, plus they will quite a lot with underhood heat dissipation. So, winner-winner

I'm not sure the car has the right attitude for the hood vents. In general, I like them. I think your car might flow better with a flat hood or a small cowl hood like Mike, glassman, has on his hood though.

I like the idea of the hood vents. My only concern is rain getting into engine bay. Sounds like a pain to keep clean.

Default rain

Was going to say same thing on rain. Have seen many threads on issues with various hood holes and water problems later. Got to be careful on drain planning with those.

Got some parts in for the electrical side of things. Car will have a full mil-spec harness. I’m running a Haltech 2500 ECU and their wideband controller. Going to run a PDM on this car to help reduce the wiring and I’ll be able to use a can bus keypad for most of the controls. I’ve also decided on a MoTeC C1212 for the display. Haven’t bought it yet but got the flush mount coming for it to build the dash out with.

I really wanted to do something different for the fuel tank. With the help of Tim@Gap Racing we came up with a tank design that dropped in from the top and replaced the trunk floor. It will hold the same if not more than any other factory style tank but allows us to keep it on the same plane as the roll pan without hanging down. I couldn’t be happier with the way it came out. It'll be powder coated and hardlined off the Radium FCST which houses dual Walbro 450's.
