My local club just anounced that they will honor that class! great news, there are several of us that run and now we can compete against each other. I just don't like the 200 tw rule though, no one makes 200 tw tires for 17's bigger than 275 or so. I was in XP because my car has an IRS, otherwise I could have gotten by in CP.

I was always told I had to compete in SSM class just because my Elco is a 2 seater......WTF? I was competing against Lotus's, Vettes, and a few well prepped Miata's. The funny part is even though I never placed near the top 3, I was only 3.5 seconds slower then the Lotus's. I think they weigh 2,000lbs less then me

I was told by other racers I should be in CP class, which I plan on doing this year unless this new CAM class is accepted in my division.
