I didn't realize my friend Randy Pobst was out there - he will drive anything ( SCCA Challenge, ChumpCar, A/X) & usually very well.

You left out station wagons

He can definitely wheel a car. At the end of the day he drove K. Tucker, B. Vokell, B. Finch, D. Popp, and the Agent 47 Mustang on the road course, Popp said his fast time was the only one he didn't beat.

Despite a power/weight ratio lower than a lot of the cars he followed, he was on darn near everyone's butt in a 4500lb wagon and skinny tires. He would gobble up a gap in EVERY braking zone; it was phenomenal to watch how a pro drives.

I'm so dumb for leaving early! I would have loved to see Pobst drive those cars. Any lap times and/or feedback from the man?!

Brett said he beat his time in his 33 by 5 seconds I think it was. I would have been glad to let him (or anyone else) drive my car to show me what it can do if I thought it would hold together for them. LOL Judging by the times posted, all but 5 or so beat me.

Chris - You beat thousands by making the field. Even DFL isn't bad in that company.

We were keeping track of the times best we could (listening to Bangshift Chad and using our phones/watches) and here is what Pobst did:

DSE Camaro: 146.x
Lingenfelter Camaro: 146.x
Ridetech '33 Ford: 147.x
Agent 47 Mustang: 148.x
Finch Camaro: 150.9

I knew if anyone was tracking this it'd be you DG, thanks!! The guy can hot seat into someone else's car and take it to the max in a matter of minutes.

Thanks for the info Dave! I would have loved to have Randy's input on Blu!

It seemed to me that the track times were down from last year. Cooler temps?

Hey Karl -- you put down a smokin time in BB!

Yeah they did seem a tad slower eh? Didn't go last year so don't know the temp delta.

Good finally meeting you.
