Hi Jody,

The car looks incredible.

Try taking picture of the car at Dawn or Dusk.

It looks way to sunny and that is why you can't see the contrast on the wheels.

Car is just fantastic Jody...the detail and forethought you put into it really shine through.....I hope you get that pesky issue worked out (you will, I have no doubt)...INCREDIBLE car!

Ken,

the crank was tapping the side of the pan after I re-did the turbo drain line; it was pushing the oil filter hoses into the side of the pan enough to make it just hit on the front throw. It was super close to begin with since I run a Callies stroker crank. I had pulled the engine to powdercoat the pan, and so I clearanced it first and then took it to the powdercoater. I went ahead and pulled the engine down just to have a look, everythings perfect.

It's almost back together, just waiting for a head gasket from Chevrolet which should be here today, and the pan from the powdercoater.

Jody,

You are certainly dedicated to this project. Pulling that work of art apart, wow. Better safe than sorry! I hope to get to see it some day. Great work.

Later,
