I said it before and I'll say it again. I appreciate all the work, craftsman, talent and skill it take to do body mods on these Camaros but, there's just something about a stock bodied Camaro with all the trimmings! That my friend is one beautiful cars that will never go out of style.

Gives some more details on it.

Just love it! Congrats

Thanks Al!

I bought this as it appears in the first pic. New GM quarters had already been installed and new GM front fenders were included. I built the car pretty much stock appearing with a 383 and TKO. I did everything myself but the paint and body work. I put 2,000 miles on the car the first year or so, but was never quite happy with the car.

In November of 2011 I tore the car apart and rebuilt it like I should have the first time. Only the body was reused. I used allof DSE's suspension pieces, a GMPP LS3, Baer brakes etc. I would have saved $ if I had sold the car and started over, but the body is so solid I hated to let it go.

I sold the 07 Z06 in my avatar to fund the rebuild project and haven't regretted it one bit.

The only thing that was not home built was my mini tube and engine. I have done everything else. I'm sure I want be painting it though. I still have a lot to learn.

I'm certainly not tired of seeing this thread stay up top. It's great motivation for people such as myself. I think it's also a good place for new people to post a short summary of their car from start to where ever they may be at this point in time without having to create a full on build thread. Only thing I can think to do is either come in occasionally and bump it back to the top should it falter or ask Jody to make it a sticky and see if he'll agree.
