Default Budnik wheel issue

I am building a 66 C10 pro tour truck. Bought a set of Pivot 22 x 9 and 22 x 12 wheels from Budnik. They are very nice. Unfortunately the fronts do not clear my Wilwood brake calipers. I contacted Budnik back in Sept. and they took responsibility for the error and said they would fast track and build replacements in 4 weeks. Since that time I would call every couple of weeks and they tell me another week or two, their being polished, they being machined, their being powder coated......etc. Then in December Sheila says end of Jan. Talked to them yesterday and they say another week, they just got the material. I asked so you will ship next week? He said I will call you back. Which he has not done so yet.
Just wondering if anyone knows if others are having issues or if the company is in financial distress. I have bought several sets of wheels from them in the past and they have always been impeccable, but I can't help feeling I am getting the run around.

Called Jason at Budnik this morning for a shipping date. He put me on hold while he went to the shop floor. Came back and said they should be ready in 1 1/2weeks. I asked what the holdup was. He said their supplier of their forgings had laid off 150 people due to Covid and they had a hard time getting forgings, but they have mine now.

Once Jason gets this sorted out, and he will, we need a LOT more info on this truck!

These wheels were ordered through a dealer in Canada. They also ordered two extra trailer wheels then shortly after receiving said they never ordered them even though they gave us a credit card and paid for them when they ordered them.

The dealer didn't follow through with the requested Brake kit part number info when they ordered the original wheels. Even then the wheels were built with extra clearance and sales orders were shared for accuracy with the dealer. They said they would sell these wheels and we took another order to make two new front wheels. We never said this was our fault as it was not at all.

As for the well being of Budnik Wheels, we can only say business is super busy just like everyone else in the Aftermarket Automotive business. We even put a new mill on the floor to accommodate our increased business. We are in process of wrapping up this order and understand the end customers frustrations, however feel we should set the record straight.

My experience with Budnik wheels and Jason has been outstanding.
My understanding is they get forgings from California, the same place that does Boeing landing gear forgings.
Hang in there.
Please send more details on your build.
Love your truck!
