Default 68 Camaro subframe

My latest project is helping a friend rebuild a 68 Camaro to just drive.
It’s a driver with 15” wheels and nothing wide, not even minitubbed.
It will end up with a 502ci and auto trans(?).
He asked me for subframe recommendations with a budget.

Questions:

Should we get a new stock subframe? If so, where from.

I personally think we need a stock subframe with the exception of upper tubular A-Arms and coil over shocks. Can it be purchased? I can TIG weld in the DSE modification, but I can only volunteer so much.

Please help us.., and don’t be shy.

Is there an existing subframe? What's wrong with it? If nothing run it with a RideTech street grip and a decent steering box.

If you don't have a stock sub to start with and coil overs are a must have, I think the math is going to be really close to putting an aftermarket clip in the car. Big Block makes that an even easier decision for me because header/steering box clearance.
