sorry about the scrolling from side to side. I hate when I have to do that. But unfortunately it is necessary to get the scan to show full size. Comments please?

My discrete class was a waste of time today. I knew all of the material so I did most of the designs then. lol Plus, once you've designed a couple of them, and you figure out how to lay them out properly, it doesn't take much time at all. the way that the wheel will be made is by segmenting the master (the original part I create) Essentially making it 1/5th of the whole part. then I make a mold, and cast replicas of that one part. Once I have 5 suitable casts, I then assemble them and then create a final mold. That will be the mold for the completed wheel.

thats awesome. I built a viper r/t 10 as my first model, with my dad. This past father's day I built an enclosed diorama of the exact same model (the original came apart over the years) and gave it to him as a gift. It was a garage theme, with parts from the original as spares

I managed to get 5 good casts from my mold for the wheel. No pictures yet, I might have one this morning. As bad as it is to say this, it was qute surprising when the wedges fit together perfectly. I was expecting some sort of trouble with them. It is taking me a little while, as I am just casting the peices whenever I get a chance. Usually not more than 2 in a day. So it will take me quite a while to get enough peices to create the wheel.
