Default New lad with 69 camaro ss

Hello all!
I'm new, from Ireland, on a big fact finding mission for an ambitious 69 camaro ss project. I'm working on the budget for it, but it'll be some sort of engine swap, and some upgrades to the drive train too. The plan is to get the major stuff like engine and drive train done by a custom shop, and do some minor stuff myself, more suited to my knowledge.

So, first query I have, if I planned on changing the whole drive train, obviously wheelbase and width is going to be one of the major deciding factors. How much tolerance do you reckon I'll have?

Welcome to the site....I would recommend staying stock WB, there is alot of aftermarket available so no reason to change. Unless you have a chassis sitting in your yard.

Lets see some pictures!!

Welcome! I wonder if rules and regulations might be more of a problem in Ireland as far as doing an engine swap? I'd definitely check that first.

What engine are you thinking about swapping in?

Like Vince said, there is no real need to do anything with changing the body or wheel base or anything. You can buy upgrades that pretty much bolt in for suspension, subframe, brakes and the rear axle if necessary.
