I figure either people will love it or hate it, personally im kinda in the middle. I grew up with family members that loved hotrods but I am young so the whole rice rocket thing was cool at one point. Yeah baby--that's what I'm talking about---thing sounds healthy!

I will say that the ver 1 of the SBC "sounds" so much better than the LS motors--now I have no idea why that is, but at the first and second Optima shootout for example, there were quite a few guys commenting about this very thing---maybe there is less overlap on the cams for the LS motors because head flow is superior, who knows---but I think you made a great point, if you already have the stuff, it makes sense to use it--- you can put the money towards making the car handle instead.
