Sweet! That has to be the place! Looks like some hip cat owns it now. My Dad and brother stayed there when they flew out to look at schools. (why my brother didn't go to Pepperdine I'll never know) He told me I had to stay there when I went. I was there in 1990, with my girlfriend (now wife). It was kind of quaint and REAL Mom and Pop. The old couple that owned it made homemade muffins for us and invited us down to the owners apartment for breakfast! Each room was decorated like a real bedroom, meaning it had real furniture and not the presswood ubiquitious crap in most hotels/motels. Each bed had a handmade quilt on it! Neat old place....Neat old people!
BTW, cost us $49 for the room!
