Thanks, I might need some details on the hood latch you did. I think I will have enough room using the stock heat exchanger but who knows...

Got the 327 and power glide out.....

Overall the sheet metal is in good shape. Just needs a good de-greasing and cleaning...

Scrub-a-dub....










Scrub up all done, time for deconstruction....







And all done....





Next up...clean up, paint and reconstruction...

An update.....

Stripped the firewall and found some interesting hieroglyphics....LOL.

Number on the cowl matches the VIN sequence....and some assembly line markings...







Firewall and fender panels prepped ....







Amazes me as I peel back the layers, how solid it is and how long it has lasted...
