Default Choice of Auto trans for 750 ft.lbs FI BBC set-up

Looking for recommendations on the best choice of auto tranny to run for forced induction BBC that can handle around 750 ft.lbs. I curently have the stock Turbo 400 in my 69 Camaro, but am looking ahead to getting something that handle a FI BBC. Also looking for a recommended stall for going to a turbo application. Thanks for the input.

A good built th400 will handle it, if you want overdrive a good built 4l80e will have no problem with it.

I like the 4l80e as well. I am putting that behind my big block shortly. I am also going with the Shrifter setup from Twist Machine. If you want simply all of the pros and cons on going with the 4l80e, call Steve at Twist machine and he will give you all of the info you need. The guy really knows his stuff. He'll fill you in on stall specs too. 631-610-4186. Good luck with your search.
