Default Borg Warner T-5

Does anyone know anything about this transmission? I'm wondering if this would be a good option for my 67 firebird. Motor is the 400. I'd really like something fancy, but I'm on a tight budget. If something like this could work well and save me cash, I'd be happy. Thanks

Borg Warner T-5 1352-084 I looked up the number and it is from GM 1985 Camaro/Firebird. Been sitting for a while.

Code is S

Rev. 3.39

1st 3.50

2nd 2.14

3rd 1.39

4th 1.00

5th 0.78

Those are very weak transmissions,so weak GM wouldn't put them behind the 350 in the Camaros. They were only available w/ a 305.

Check out the T45 Tranny that Keisler has out. It is $1399

They are rated for 350ft. or they have another one rated for a 425 ft.
