Hi Rayman, I'm from Great Britain. Yeah, fit the RS front, you know it makes sense I guess we could all relate to your story as we've all paid for stuff & waited for it to turn up, I'm terrible at waiting for parts & when they arrive I've just gotta keep them in the living room for a few days so's I can look at them while I'm watching TV. Don't think my ball & chain (wife) would let me keep a car in there though

Strange thing is, when customers parts turn up it doesn't have the same effect, it's just more parts, but when it's your own........

yeah, i was 21 when i bought the mustang.....

My parents didnt want me to get that, but when it came time to sell her, they didnt want me to let it go. This car, they have not said much on, only the friendly reminder that fuel is $1.50 a litre almost.

Hi Rayman

Another Aussie here, I got my 1st Camaro at 19, a 1971 SS 396 with RS option, so I can relate to your passion

Now I'm just stuck with just my second one. I bought this in 1988, a 68 RS convertible project finally on it's way to being pro toured.

I didn't see your car on Ebay so don't know anything about it. Is it left or right hand drive? If it is a real big block car with some proof, I'd be very reluctant to modify it (too much). Even though I no longer have the 71 (sold to a friend) it could be made "stock" very easily.

Feel free to email pics would love to check it out.

there are quite a few Aussies over at www.camaros.net these days as well.

cheers Roger

For us in Britain, fuel is £0.90p/litre, approx 5 litres/ gallon, so fuel is roughly $9.00 per gallon!! scary huh??

hey 68ls1, good to see another aussie on the board. I will get some pics up soon enough, gotta borrow a decent camera.

To answer the fuel question; 1 US gallon is equal to 3.785 litres.
Current exchange rate is 75.8c AUD to 1 US dollar.

Just been around to see a friends 68, thats he's just had painted. Currently got a set of 17x8 and 20x8 torque thrusts mocked up on it at the moment. Looks a little odd.

I think my plans are to stick with what i wanted originally, a clone of steve1969ls1's car. The more i look at it, the more i like.

The US gallon is slightly smaller for some reason than the British gallon, a British gallon is 5.5 litres.Still makes filling a car up mighty expensive though. Our government are talking of raising the duty on it to make it £5.00/ gallon ie almost $10.00 !! Sure takes the fun outta things
