Default Wiring, Wiring & more Wiring - The Clean Up ((09-07-20 )) Part 2

So how is it possible that I used all of these tools.

Moving to my next project.

I don't have many wires that I want to label so as much as I want the really nice label maker I am going to do it the poor
man way. So off to Office Depot to Dymo Label maker for $40.00 and some clear heat shrink tubing.

So here is my first try and I think it worked good enough for my little project.

Sometime I wish I had a 3rd arm to help hold wires while I am soldering.

Well it looks like I am going to do some testing with a hair dryer. Not sure how much of and issue it will be on the inside of the car. More worried about the stuff in the inner fender.

Edit
I did use a heat gun to shrink the heat shrink tubing. What’s your thoughts ??

Default Hella Horns - Gotta Have Them (( 09-12-20 ))

One thing that I really wanted was a nice loud set of horns and I am pretty confident these will work just fine.

Default Holley EFI Relays - Weld Studs (( 09-13-20 )

One of the benefits of the DEI X-Mat is you can push the weld studs into and make a perfect circle. I will be mounting the Holley Relays to these studs.

It's important that you remove all the paint before you bond them.

Default Holley EFI Tank (( 09-17-20 ))

It's time to put the tank together and it was a very nice day to be out in the garage.

Pieces & Parts

Time to build the the fuel pump/fuel level assembly.

You may have to move the wires over a little bit so make sure you look.

Very important note here. Make sure you cover the hole for the float. Because if it can happen it will happen.

Just in case you wanted to know yes I dropped a bolt inside the tank. Ugh !!!

The float assembly ready to drop in after it was modified per the instructions.

Remove the access off the bottom.

Make sure you line up the gasket correctly.

Call your daughter and ask her to help you pack it up and put it back in the box.
