Default doors

The Camaro got a set of C6 corvette door handles. I know this has been done before, but I like the look of them on the second gen Camaro's.

Here is the rear spoiler. just slightly lower than the short second gen spoiler.

Here is the detail shot of the end of the spoiler.

Ready for paint.

Looking good. Those door handles look like they could have, or should have come from the factory.

Default Engine & Suspension

Marty, Glad you like the rear spoiler. I wanted something shorter that the stock mid height spoiler so this is what we came up with.
Wayne -The handles are C5 and they do look like they were for this shape of car with the body lines.

Well the guy I got this from had installed the new motor and tranny but after the car was in primer and the over spray was real bad as you can see. I was going to pull the motor but thought since all the suspension was coming off and all the new parts would be installed that once I got it down to nothing I could just paint the sub frame.

Here is the start of putting on the Vintage Air Front Runner, New water pump and spacers.

Here is the upper section all together before it bolts to the water pump.

Vintage Air does a great job on making all this real tight and compact. I like the way the lines are all hidden as much as you can.

Here is how this all looks on the front of the engine.

Now it is time for the Baer Brakes and the DSE suspension parts to go on this project.

The DSE suspension will make this 2nd Gen corner and perform great. I am installing the front kit with A-Arms, Coils, sway bar and the DSE shocks.

Greasable sway bar so it does not ever make any noise.

Now it is Baer Brakes time..6 Piston front and rear. Silver to match the cars color with the red letters.

Like the way the Baer Brakes come with all the items needed to make this one professional kit.

OK now to see the brakes with the new Intro wheels. I did a custom powder coating to the center of the wheels to match the stripe that will be on the car. The outer hoop is brushed with a roller lip.

Got the BFGoodrich tires mounted.

Little more work to go.

Looking good, the small changes make a huge difference on the car. Do you have any more pics of the wheels and tires mocked up on the car? I am debating using almost the same wheels on my 72.
