Default long time lurker first time poster!

I registered on this site a while ago just looking for information. And now i think i have found too much

I think i am finally ready to take the next step and start asking some questions and learning more about what i want to do.

I have a pretty extensive drag racing background but now i want to build a car to go on a race track.

So pardon my ignorance and thanks in advance for all the help!

Right on! That's my favorite Tri-5.

Tough call between the A-body/F-body. I've owned both and quite honestly I think you should have each of them.

I am leaning more towards the A-body mainly because I have kids. While the Camaro has a backseat - the Malibu/Chevelle was more of a family cruiser.

I want a cruiser i can let loose at a track. Also no one else on my block can go out and buy one!
