Design and Development was done (still is) at Head Office, Salmon St Fishermens Bend, Victoria 500 miles from Elizabeth. Camaro has been designed there for 10 years.
One year ago Holden ceased assembly in Australia. All current Holdens are imported.
I'm ex-Body Designer Fishermens Bend '71 thru 80, then worked for design agencies 2000 thru 2006.
First computer at Holdens was the SECOND mainframe computer in Australia, Government Aircraft Factory was the first. I was in the first group of 8 guys trained up.
