Snap On tools - where to buy? - Lateral-g Forums

Hey guys,

I'm looking to buy some Snap On tools from the U.S, and import to Australia.

Where can I buy these from? In Australia, we can only buy direct from the Snap On truck. Is this the same deal in the U.S?

I see a few items on ebay, but only bits and pieces.

Are you looking to buy a lot of stuff? I could put in touch with our Snap-On guy who is here in SoCal and see if he could take care of a order for you.

Looking to buy a few wrench sets, plier sets, screwdriver sets at a time. Import them, then turn them over at a slight profit here and then repeat the process.

Have done this successfully on a few other items, and can see the same potential with the Snap on tools. (providing i can buy at a decent price)

Snap on tools sell at ridiculous prices here.

Snap-on tools sell at ridiculous prices here too, unfortunately. I'm buying fewer and fewer -- can't justify the cost anymore.

As an example here, we are paying $50-70 per wrench.

I bought a couple of sets of spanners of ebay for myself recently at under half of what i would have paid for them here. I'd buy more off ebay, but most people of have 1 of the item. I'm looking to buy several at a time to reduce freight costs etc. Do pep boys or the likes sell Snap on, or somewhere with an online store? Buying direct from Snap on is too expensive, and they will probably not sell to me anyway, to protect their resellers here.

Just looking for a product i can make a few bucks off by reselling here.

I've been importing Short shifters and reselling, but i've pretty much exhausted my market.

Our AUD vs the USD is really good exchange rate at the moment, so it's feasible to do.
