Default Water Main Break - S.F., CA

So Gwen and I arrived this afternoon in San Francisco for the Cardinals/49r's game on Sunday -- we decided to walk down a couple blocks from the hotel to Union Square... This backhoe was trying to hold a piece of plywood over the water main they just broke... then he had the brilliant idea to try to move the plywood just a little - and that's when all **** broke loose.... The store on the corner that's just getting hammered is Louis Vuitton (I call them Luis Vynell).

When we first walked by there was no water... We grabbed a cup of coffee and started back and noticed the commotion. At that time he had the plywood over it but you could tell it was not going well...

Then I jumped up on a "pot" that had a nice tree in it for a better view... and watched the guy try to maneuver the piece of wood and that's when I switched over to video (love that iPhone!)... I could feel 'mist' from the geyser but didn't get wet! LOL

Some others - not so lucky!

Wish we could meet up with you this weekend, we have a wedding up near Sacramento all weekend. We will be around on Monday if your still here.

Glad you are enjoying the "sites" of the city. Always something or someone to look at. Enjoy your game at Candlestick.

Yeah - I'd love to get together too but I'm busy..... I'll be schlepping around in every store around Union Square "waiting patiently" for the girls to get finished. Dinner tonight since AJ will arrive today on the team plane... then game tomorrow and home.

Heck -- I'm not even going to get to Brizios!
