Good project I'm listen to Ike and Tina just thinking how much fun it was street racing in the 60's the cars was every thing.

I want a 1960 vette so bad... it is my all time favorite car... the lines are just perfect... MURDER IT OUT!!!! that would be too cool!

Captain Lee's stripper is sold by the gallon and is the best stuff I have used for stripping. Google it and you will find suppliers. It also tends to be cheaper than other strippers.

Someone mentioned gel-coating also. THIS IS A MUST ON FIBERGLASS!

I work part-time for a Corvette Restoration shop and we did a 66 Vette on tube chassis with everything we could get from a 04 Z06.

Thanks all for the comments and suggestions so far.

I do have my supply of Captain Lee's I am working my way through.

The real body work is a way's off I suspect for me.

Speaking of that - off to the metal supplier for some parts and pieces.
