I don't think the blue looks all that bad as regular trunk paint isn't that nice to begin with. Haven't used it in years and it never looks right to me.

There is also usually adhesion problems but I think that is due to it's ingredients?? Am I wrong in remembering something about what it is comprised of or???? that actually gives it that spatter look.

Can you use the UPOL colors to make up that spatter pattern you want using UPOL as a base? There are other products that are textured that are made to be painted.

That is what was done to my trunk....three differant blues layered for the splatter look....
