Default What shifter works best with T56??

My 69 camaro is almost done...!!
I have yet to pick a shifter.
What shifter is best to use for the T56(Tranzilla)? Im using the Gen 2 center consul... and it is a 6 speed.

thanks.

I have a T-56 in my 91' Camaro and am running a Pro 5.0 shifter. I absolutely 100% recommend it !!! I ran the stock shifter for a while... that sucked. I have driven a few cars with the Hurst, the B&M, and modified stock, and in my opinion, the Pro 5.0 is the best for being the most solid/ smooth shift. 2-3 shift has yet to be missed since install !

I've got a Pro 5.0 in my Camaro, and love the direct feel between shifts...it works great for me!

Another vote for the Pro 5.0

I had one in my 2000 SS and loved it.

I also have a t56 but I am going to use the MGW one. Read the forums in ls1tech.com They have a lot of info on the shifters, and everyone is pretty adamant that the mgw is the best one out right now. You just have to break it in.

FYI thier site mgwltd.com does not have one for an fbody on the site. They do make one for a fbody t56 which is what you need, you have to call them to order it.
