Default painted T-56

Hey guys just wanted to see what color you are painting your t-56's post up some pics. color and what type of paint you used. Scheduled to take delivery of mine today and looking for ideas.

I haven't and won't paint mine. If you're looking to show it off, I would leave it natural or paint it the same color as the engine. I would think anything else would look odd.

If you choose to keep it natural, you could spend time sanding it smooth or just doing a good job removing casting flash as a way to dress it up.

Painted mine rattle can "gun metal". looks good imo. Didnt budget enough time to prep though, alot of knooks and crannies.....still looks good, three years later and 10k miles, of which theres has been "absoluty no abuse", other than track, some fire trails, rain....lol

flat silver.... that way you can see any leaks if they happen to occur

While black looks cool... hard to diagnose leaks

Default painting of trans and block...

I ended up using the VHT line of rattle can high temp primer and cast aluminum for my transmission and engine. It turned out very close to the color of the raw aluminum.
I am very happy with the rules and price.
