Default 6L80E drive shaft help

Can someone tell me how to get a drive shaft made to work from a 09 G8 GT into my 70 Nova? The factory one does not have the typical u joints at each end. Either I need to modify the factory one or figure out how to modify the tail shaft to accept the typical style shafts. Anyone dealt with this already?

if you have the G8 shaft you can have a drive shaft shop make one to fit the Nova using the parts from the G8. my local shop does it for about $250

The Drive Shaft Shop can set you up. I had one made with a CV joint.

Would I have to change my tail shaft flange since the rear of the G8's 6l80E has a 3 flange bracket and not a yoke ?

That's who we use too. They supply a shaft with the flange that bolts up.

I thought I'd just cheer somebody else (besides me) using a 6l80. If you have a local driveshaft shop, they can do anything you need, especially if you bring them sufficient evidence of what is there, along with specific measurements. Here's a cool link for measuring necessary length from the shop that made mine (to link the 6l80 to my C4 Corvette rear): http://www.dlssac.com/php/trig2.php.
